These projects illustrate the modernisation of hospital infrastructure, as well as the strengthening and improvement of the quality of basic medical services and their proximity to citizens.
King Mohammed VI has ordered the immediate commissioning of the Mohammed VI Hospital Center in the province of Al Hoceima, located in the north of the country, and the Zemmouri Hospital Center in the province of Kénitra, 50 km from Rabat, once the construction work is completed. These initiatives are part of the modernization of Morocco’s hospital infrastructure and aim to improve the quality of primary healthcare and make it more accessible to citizens.
According to a statement from the Moroccan Ministry of Health and Social Protection received by APA, the commissioning of these two new hospital structures is part of the reform and modernisation of the health sector in Morocco. The aim is to provide quality medical services to citizens in all regions of the country.
These hospital centers, with a capacity of 250 and 450 beds respectively, are part of a series of major health projects launched in recent years with the aim of restructuring the Moroccan health system in line with the project to generalise social protection and improve the services offered to Moroccans.
Both facilities will be equipped with advanced biomedical equipment and digital medical record management systems that will allow health professionals to quickly access patient data, improving the quality and speed of care.
These projects illustrate Morocco’s commitment, under the leadership of the king, to promoting and developing the national health system and guaranteeing access to quality health services for all citizens. They also testify to the sovereign’s desire to improve the quality of life of Moroccans and to make the Moroccan health system a regional and international model.
