Morocco has cancelled the obligation of the PCR test to access its territory, according to the announcement by the department of the Head of Government with immediate effect on Tuesday.
“This decision will enter into force upon publication of this communiqué,” it said.
“It was taken on the basis of legal provisions relating to the management of the state of health emergency and taking into consideration the improvement of the epidemiological situation in our country,” it added.
It can be recalled that Morocco has reopened its borders in February 2022 by requiring travellers to the national territory to present a vaccine pass. However, the statement from the department of the head of government does not specify whether this requirement will also be lifted.
