The agreement, covering the period 2025-2027, was signed by foreign ministers from Morocco, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone on the sidelines of the 79th UN General Assembly.
The roadmap focuses on areas such as education, vocational training, technical cooperation, economic promotion, investments, and financial assistance. It aims to build upon the existing strong and long-standing bonds between Morocco and the MRU countries.
The Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI) will ensure the implementation of the roadmap. Morocco will share its expertise and best practices with the MRU countries in areas such as vocational training, agriculture, water, fishing, tourism, and renewable energies.
This partnership aligns with Morocco’s commitment to supporting development and prosperity in Africa. The MRU countries expressed their appreciation for Morocco’s continued support and willingness to share its knowledge and expertise.
