Thales is opening a new cybersecurity operations center (SOC) in Morocco, the sixth in its international network, providing real-time protection against cyber attacks in the country but also on the entire African continent, the global high-tech giant announced on Tuesday in a statement.
This operational center will provide Moroccan and African administrations and companies with effective means of supervision in terms of cybersecurity, says Thales.
The SOCs bring together threat detection and analysis capabilities 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and offer responses in line with the country’s cybersecurity infrastructure and policies.
The six SOCs, located in Canada, France, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and now Morocco, form an international network operating under a “Follow the Sun” model that supports more than 100 customers around the world on a continuous basis, with an unmatched level of responsiveness and flexibility.
