Cabinet spokesperson Ana Comoana said these were agreements with the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank, with the African Development Fund (AfDF) and the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA).
Addressing a media conference in Maputo Wednesda, Comoana said the agreement with IDA, valued at US$45 million, aims to provide a financing for biodiversity development and conservation projects.
The agreements with the AfDF are for financing the $15.4 million agricultural value chain and youth empowerment project and the supplementary emergency project for the rehabilitation of the Massingir dam in the southern province of Gaza, valued at $ 6.9 million.
The agreement with BADEA, is financing for the construction of the fishing port of Angoche, in the northern province of Nampula, including development of related fishing infrastructure.
