According to the statement to APA, the MV Zografia hit the docked vessel “Princesse Jessica,” causing it to capsize.
No casualties were reported.
According to the statement, the port’s teams quickly attended the scene and set up buoys in accordance with regulatory procedures.
Although the incident did not affect the normal course of port activities, the authorities there confirmed that measures were underway to refloat the damaged vessel.
The PAD noted that this type of accident can happen in any port, while indicating its ability to react quickly thanks to a robust safety system.
The port assures its partners and customers that its operations will continue in full safety.
