The Business and Financial Times reports that the GIPC has again stated that some Ghanaian investors have been knocking at its doors for opportunities where they can invest in.
The Chief Executive Officer of the GIPC, Mr. Yofi Grant, said: “What is happening lately is that we are recording a lot of indigenous coming to us.”
According to Grant, more need to be done to shore up local investments.
He noted that although more needed to be done to support local investors, there were some alternative supports available to help local businesses grow.
The Ghanaian Times says the Minister of Education, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has assured that free senior high school will continue to be free in spite of suggestions that the government should compel parents with rich financial backgrounds to pay for their wards.
The Daily Graphic said President Nana Akufo-Addo has noted that the abundant blessing God has showered on Ghana is enough justification for the construction of a national cathedral.
