A joint Mauritanian-Moroccan commission was set up on Thursday in Nouakchott, with the task of submitting proposals aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries, APA can report.

The establishment of such a committee was decided at a working meeting between the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Mauritania (CCIAM) and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Rabat-Salé and Kenitra.
The commission will have to submit a roadmap for joint action between Nouakchott and Rabat in various development areas.
It was given two months to submit its proposals.
The meeting was co-chaired by Ahmed Baba Ould Aleya, President of CCIAM and Abdellah Abad, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Rabat-Salé and Kenitra.
It particularly allowed exploring opportunities to strengthen economic cooperation between the two chambers and private sector development in both countries.
