APA – Kigali (Rwanda) – 18 travelers were seriously wounded in a road accident that happened in Rwanda’s Southern district of Kamonyi earlier Wednesday, a police source said.
The cause of the deadly accident, according to the official Thursday, was reckless driving on a road in a mountainous area.
The spokesperson of the Rwanda National Police (RNP)’s Traffic and Road Safety Department, said the accident along the Kigali-Muhanga highway.
The police officer told local media that the fuel truck left its lane and rammed into the Toyota Coaster, injuring 18 people, five of whom critically.
