A Rwandan bus which was bound for Uganda from Kenya has caught fire and was consumed by the inferno leaving the belongings of passengers completely gutted, APA can report from Nairobi on Tuesday.
The bus which was licensed under the Trinity Express Company in Rwanda had 35 passengers on board.
It was on its way to the Ugandan capital Kampala on Monday when it burst into flames just outside the town of Koru in Kenya’s Kisumu County.
There were no report of casualties among the passengers who witnesses said had left the bus shortly after the fire started in the wee hours of Monday morning.
Police investigators in Kisumu said the fire was caused by a mechanical fault with the bus’s engine. .
