Rwanda and Egypt will promote mutually beneficial cooperation, especially in jointly combating the COVID-19 pandemic, the two countries’ foreign ministers have said.
During a meeting in Kigali between Rwanda minister of Foreign affairs and cooperating and his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry, both sides agreed to continue maintaining the momentum of high-level exchanges.
Since 1970, bilateral relations between Rwanda and Egypt have been focusing on agriculture and culture.
Currently, the cooperation grew and extended to other important sectors that include health, agriculture, commerce, air transport environment and security, it said.
