Rwanda has reported four new deaths, bringing the number of fatalities up to 63 total, Health authorities announced Monday.
The new count puts Rwanda’s COVID-19 death rate at 0.9 percent, the ministry of health said in its latest update.
The deceased include two women aged 47 and 63 respectively and were living in Kigali. The others were men aged 52 and 68 and were recorded in Rubavu District.
The country has also reported 61 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total cases to 7,293. Of those infected, 1,139 are still hospitalized and 6,901 have recovered.
