APA – Kigali (Rwanda) – Rwandan topflight league giant APR FC on Saturday announced its signing of the Ugandan international midfielder Thaddeo Lwanga and Burundian left wing forward Ismaël Nshimirimana a.k.a Pichu.
Until his recruitment by the Rwandan military club, Lwanga was playing for Arta/Solar7 in the Djibouti Premier League and the Uganda national team as a midfielder.
Lwanga, an AFCON finalist with Uganda Cranes at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament has also been an integral part of the national team.
The 29-years-old football player has also previously played for his home-based Express, Sports Club Villa, Vipers and Tanta in Egypt.
In a related development, Ugandan goalkeeper Simon Tamale has officially signed earlier this month a two-year contract with Rwanda’s football giants Rayon Sports.
Before joining Rayon Sports, Tamale has been playing for his home-based Maroons FC, also known as Prisons FC, a Ugandan professional football club from Kampala owned by Uganda Prisons Service.
