he defending champions of Rwanda’s Azam Premier League, Rayon Sports on Monday completed the signing of Malian striker Oumar Sidibé, on a two -year deal, local sport sources confirmed to APA in Kigali.
The 29-year-old who was until last season playing for Turkish second division side Hatayspor and Malian club AC Djoliba has been handed the No 9 shirt, for a reported $7,000 per month.
Sidibé, is the fifth Malian to sign with Rayon Sports after his compatriots Moussa Camara, Tidiane Koné, Ismala Diarra na Alhassane Tamboura joined the outfit in previous seasons.
The Malian players have started pre-season training with the rest of the team in preparation for the 2016/17 season, which is due to start shortly.
Rayon finished Azam Rwanda Premier League with 72 points in the 2018/19 season.
