South African President Cyril Ramaphosa will visit the United Kingdom in November following an invitation by newly crowned King Charles III, the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation announced on Tuesday.
The visit is scheduled for 22-24 November, the ministry said.
UK Minister for Africa Gillian Keegan said she was looking forward to Ramaphosa’s visit to Britain, saying South Africa was a key partner to the UK.
Keegan said London and Pretoria were keen to work together towards a green and healthy future.
Annual trade between the UK and South Africa amounts to billions of dollars per annum, and the country is South Africa’s fourth-biggest export market.
