The value of the SANUSI Currency Index depreciated by 0.49% against the US Dollar over the week, from May 19-26, 2023.
The value of the Liberian Dollar, Nigerian Naira, Gambian Dalasi, Ghanaian Cedi, CFA Franc, Cape Verdean Escudo, Central African CFA Franc, South African Rand, Botswana Pula, Angolan Kwanza, Kenyan Shilling, Tanzanian Shilling, Ethiopian Birr, Moroccan Dirham and the Algerian Dinar depreciated against the US Dollar over the week.
However, the Sierra Leonean Leone and the Guinean Franc appreciated against the US Dollar over the same period. The Egyptian Pound was stable.
