APA-Freetown-(Sierra Leone) The value of the SANUSI Currency Index appreciated by 0.84% against the US Dollar over the week, from July 7-14, 2023.
The value of the Ghanaian Cedi, Guinean Franc, CFA Franc, Cape Verdean Escudo, Central African CFA Franc, South African Rand, Botswana Pula, Angolan Kwanza, Ethiopian Birr, Moroccan Dirham and the Algerian Dinar appreciated against the US Dollar over the week.
However, the Sierra Leonean Leone, Liberian Dollar, Nigerian Naira, Gambian Dalasi, Kenyan Shilling and the Tanzanian Shilling depreciated against the US Dollar over the same period. The Egyptian Pound was stable.
