The cost of the work which should last 12 months is 1.5 billion CFA francs.
According to the minister, this new project in the health sector is part of the drive by President Macky Sall to strengthen the technical capacities of health facilities.
President Sall is responding “in a satisfactory manner to the needs of the population through the construction of quality infrastructures and the acquisition of modern equipment without forgetting human resources,” Sarr added.
The Health minister noted that “major investments made over the past ten years have made it possible to considerably improve health indicators in Senegal and to limit or even halt the evacuation of patients to other countries.”
