Lavrov expressed Russia’s concern about the growing terrorist threat in the Sahel and offered support to Senegal and other African countries in their efforts to combat terrorism.

Lavrov announced plans for a Russia-Senegal Business Forum in October, while Fall emphasized the importance of the partnership for Senegal’s development and the well-being of its young population.
