Set up in Senegal in 2015, the subsidiary has developed in six years a fast and innovative growth model in the electronic payments and mobile money sector, in response to the growing needs of the use of banking services and access to convenient financial services.
Wizall Money’s innovative vision first attracted the Total Group, the leading distributor of petroleum products, which took a stake in the start-up’s capital and invested several billion CFA francs in the solution in 2015.
The company then launched a fundraising campaign with the BCP Group, parent company of the Banque Atlantique establishments, which became its reference shareholder in December 2018, following the acquisition of a majority stake in the start-up’s capital.
Wizall is already successfully developing in the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) Zone, with more than 2.9 million operations, 1,000,000 customers, and 200 billion CFA francs in transactional flows in 2020.
