Victoria and Seoul are looking to strengthen cooperation after talks between officials of the two countries earlier this week.
This was discussed as the Korean ambassador in Victoria Mr. Jung Kang, held talks with the Principal Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Vivianne Fock Tave on Wednesday 25th September.
The two diplomats assessed the outcome of the 1st Korea-Africa Summit held lst June in Seoul and they agreed that these should form the basis for cooperation between Seychelles and South Korea.
They are looking to strengthen cooperation in the spheres of renewable energy, digital technology, Tech4Africa Initiative and trade.
Also discussed was a visa waiver agreement for diplomatic and official passport holders.
This is expected to culminate in an agreement for normal passport holders.
The Seychelles-South Korea Joint Commission was also discussed.
