News of their release broke out on Saturday after It come after Bashir ordered to free all female detainees linked to the protests, according to a presidential statement on Friday.
According to activists, some of those released had spent over two months in detention.
They were arrested by Sudan national intelligence and security services from the capital Khartoum and other cities across Sudan.
Tens of thousands of people took to the streets of Sudan since mid December calling for Bashir to stand down.
The 75 year old has been in power since a coup in 1989.
Human rights organizations and oppositions parties say over 56 people have as a result of a government crackdown on the protests.
They said over 3,000 have been arrested and detained since.
