Hundureds took to the streets in the Sudanese capital ,Khartoum on Saturday to celebrate the power-sharing agreement between the military and opposition leaders under Ethiopian mediation supported by african union.
people celebrating were seen raising the Sudanese flag and chanting in the main streets of khartoum .
The celebration started soon after negotiationers representing “freedomand, change declartion forces “and military representatives came out and annunced the agreement. The two parties have agreed to form a national unity government, according to the agreement.
Sudanse army took power in the country and formed a transitional military council after it ousted the former presidential Omer al-Bashir following widenation protests across the country and site -in at army headquarter in Khartoum.
TensionS between protesters and militery built up after security forces attacked the sit-in which left over 100 protesters killed.
Due to the attack FCDF and MTC counclled last month negotiation befere returning to the table under the initiative of Ethiopia and african union.
