eSwatini nationals will no longer require visas to travel to Taiwan with effect from June 1 following a waiver announced by the Asian country’s foreign ministry at the weekend, APA learnt here on Sunday.
According to a notice from the Taiwanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, eSwatini nationals will be allowed to stay in Taiwan for a maximum 90 days without visas.
All that is required for a traveller is a passport that is valid for at least six months, proof of hotel reservation and of sufficient financial means and details of a contact person in Taiwan.
The ministry said the move is aimed at promoting tourism and trade between eSwatini and Taiwan.
