The value of the SANUSI Currency Index depreciated by 0.43% against the US Dollar over the week, from April 28 to May 5, 2023.
The value of the Sierra Leonean Leone, Liberian Dollar, Nigerian Naira, Ghanaian Cedi, Guinean Franc, CFA Franc, Cape Verdean Escudo, Central African CFA Franc, South African Rand, Angolan Kwanza, Kenyan Shilling, Tanzanian Shilling and the Egyptian Pound depreciated against the US Dollar over the week.
However, the Gambian Dalasi, Botswana Pula, Ethiopian Birr, Moroccan Dirham and the Algerian Dinar appreciated against the US Dollar over the same period.
