The value of the SANUSI Currency Index depreciated by 0.58% against the US Dollar over the week, from May 5-12, 2023.
The value of the Sierra Leonean Leone, Liberian Dollar, CFA Franc, Cape Verdean Escudo, Central African CFA Franc, South African Rand, Botswana Pula, Kenyan Shilling, Tanzanian Shilling, Ethiopian Birr, Moroccan Dirham and the Algerian Dinar depreciated against the US Dollar over the week.
However, the Gambian Dalasi, Nigerian Naira, Ghanaian Cedi, Guinean Franc, Angolan Kwanza and the Egyptian Pound appreciated against the US Dollar over the same period.
