The inauguration takes place on April 2 in Diamniadio located some thirty kilometers from Dakar.
“The administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Mark Green, will lead the delegation,” a statement issued by the US embassy confirmed, adding that the Ambassador Tulinabo S. Mushingi will be part of the delegation.
The Acting Chairman and CEO of the Private Investment Promotion Corporation Abroad (OPIC) David Bohigian, Ms. Whitney Baird, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for West Africa at the US State Department, Ms. Emily Elston, the Director of African Affairs and Mr. Carl Sosebee, Senior Advisor to the Director of the US Peace Corps, will also be present at the swearing in ceremony.
