Tunisia solidified their position at the top of Group H with a 2-0 victory over Malawi. Late goals from Seifeddine Jaziri and Elias Achouri sealed the win after a goalless first half. The Carthage Eagles now lead their group with 16 points, four points ahead of Namibia.
In Group A, Ethiopia dominated Djibouti with a resounding 6-1 victory. Bereka Desta and Abubeker Nassir both scored hat-tricks, keeping Ethiopia in the qualification race, although they remain second to group leaders Egypt.

Mali, however, were held to a disappointing 0-0 draw by the Central African Republic. Despite dominating the match, Mali failed to capitalize on their opportunities, leaving them third in Group I, behind Ghana and Madagascar.
Madagascar suffered a 3-0 defeat against Ghana. Thomas Partey scored a brace, and Mohamed Kudus added another goal for Ghana. This loss puts Madagascar five points behind Ghana in the group standings.
Côte d’Ivoire secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Gambia, with Sébastien Haller scoring the decisive goal in the 15th minute. This win puts Côte d’Ivoire ahead of Gabon in Group F.
