Two people are feared dead following hours of heavy rain in the Ghanaian capital Accra on Monday evening.
The rains which lasted more than three hours on Monday started in the early hours of the day and reportedly led to the death of two people, whose bodies were found at Adabraka, a flood prone area.
At the Kwame Nkrumah Circle, vehicles got stuck in the floods while pedestrians walked through floodwaters, which had risen to knee level.
Flooding in Accra is perennial and all attempts by the authorities to get citizens to avoid building on waterways and clogging the drains appear ignored.
