APA-Pretoria (South Africa) A light aircraft crashed in South Africa on Sunday, killing the only two people who were aboard the plane.
According to the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA), the accident involved a Bat Hawk aircraft that crash-landed in Centurion near Pretoria.
“The Accident and Incident Investigations Division of the authority was informed of an accident involving a Bat Hawk aircraft that occurred in Grasslands area in Centurion,” SACAA spokesperson Sisa Majola said.
Both the pilot and the passenger died on the spot.
“A preliminary report will be issued in 30 days from the day of this accident,” the spokesperson said.
