According to the statement, both partners are committed to unlocking new potential to deliver a wide range of benefits to stakeholders, including greater access to advanced prepaid and debit card offerings and innovative digital payment solutions.
Minayegnan Coulibaly, Director General of GIM-Uemoa, emphasized his organization’s commitment to building a robust and secure digital ecosystem in West Africa.
“We are convinced that this collaboration with Mastercard will bring significant benefits to our fellow citizens and contribute to sustainable economic growth,” he said.
