The United States has thanked King Mohammed VI for the provision of medical aids to the people of Gaza.
The US State Department, through its regional spokesman, Samuel Warberg, expressed the United States’ gratitude to King Mohammed VI
for the humanitarian medical aid operation deployed on very high royal instructions for the benefit of the population of Gaza.
Speaking to Medi1 TV on Tuesday, Mr. Warberg stressed that the United States “would like to thank HM King Mohammed VI not only for this new aid, but also for all the efforts made over the years.”
The spokesman also highlighted the friendly relations between Moroccan and Palestinian peoples, as well as the numerous humanitarian operations undertaken by Morocco on behalf of the Palestinians.
The latest initiative carried out on the instructions of the King, is the continuation of this spirit of solidarity.
Warberg also praised Morocco’s support for diplomatic efforts for lasting peace agreement.
King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al Quds Committee, has instructed for the deployment of large-scale humanitarian operation, providing 40 tonnes of medical equipment to Gaza.
This aids include equipment for treating burns, surgical and trauma emergencies, as well as essential medicines.
The delivery of the aid followed the same unprecedented overland route as that used for food aid operation initiated during the previous month of Ramadan.
These significant humanitarian actions to the Palestinians confirm King Mohammed VI’s commitment to the Palestinian cause.
