Economic growth in Sub-Saharan African is going to continue to next year, poll conducted by Reuters says on Sunday.
However, the findings suggest that growth on the continent would still not reach potentials at time when the continent is experiencing a rapid population growth. The results show that “Nigeria, Africa’s biggest economy, would grow 2.6 percent next year and Kenya would grow 5.8 percent.”
Cobus De Hart, chief economist for north and west African countries at NKC African Economics was quoted saying that the continent might experience more economic growth next year compare to this year.
According to findings, the foreseen economic growth is based on the expected good performance of heavyweight economies such as Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya and Zambia.
