The value of the SANUSI 18 Currency Index depreciated by just 0.15 percent against the US Dollar over the week, June 18 to 25, 2021,
The value of the Ghanaian Cedi, South African Rand, Botswana Pula, Angolan Kwanza, Ethiopian Birr, Algerian Dinar and the Egyptian Pound depreciated against the US Dollar over the period.
However, the Sierra Leonean Leone, Liberian Dollar, CFA Franc, Cape Verdean Escudo, Central African CFA Franc, Tanzanian Shilling, Moroccan Dirham, Gambian Dalasi, Kenyan Shilling and the Nigerian Naira appreciated against the American currency.
The Guinean Franc was stable.
