The manager of the Senegalese national team released on Friday his final list for the World Cup scheduled in Qatar from November 20 to December 18.
With the Qatar World Cup just around the corner, the coaches are choosing their men to go for the title. To this end, Aliou Cissé, the Senegal coach who kept his pre-list secret, faced the press on 11 November.
As expected, the technician remained faithful to his principles with few changes in the group with which he won the Africa Cup of Nations 2021.
In this list, there are only seven players who took part in the 2018 World Cup in Russia. They are Alfred Gomis, Kalidou Koulibaly, Youssouf Sabaly, Cheikhou Kouyate, Idrissa Gana Guèye, Ismaïla Sarr and Sadio Mané. The Lions’ star player was recently injured at club level and was tipped by the media to be out of action. But he will be on the trip.
