Kenya completed the list of World Cup qualifiers Africa after defeating Zambia 19-12 in the bronze medal tie on Sunday.
This will be Zimbabwe’s sixth appearance at the Rugby World Cup Sevens, having previously secured qualification in 1997, 2001, 2009, 2013 and 2018.
The qualification came a week after Zimbabwe’s Under-20 rugby team was crowned continental champions on April 17.
