APA-Rabat (Morocco) A fourth Royal Air Maroc (RAM) plane landed in Casablanca on Tuesday, May 2, carrying 125 Moroccans and other Africans, repatriated from Sudan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a statement.
This plane repatriated 125 people, including Moroccans, but also nationals of African countries who reside in Sudan or were there at the time of the outbreak of armed hostilities between rival factions, it added.
Among the African nationals repatriated on this exceptional flight are Senegalese, Gabonese, Malians, Burkinabes and citizens from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
The arrival of this fourth flight in Morocco marks the end of the air bridge established between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the RAM.
In total, it will have enabled the evacuation or repatriation of 572 people.
