APA-Brazzaville (Congo) – Africa Global Logistics (AGL) Congo has successfully transported oversized fermentation tanks for its client Bralico, a subsidiary of the Castel Group specialised in the production and marketing of beer, mixed spirits and soft drinks.
This exceptional convoy consisted of transporting two huge fermentation tanks, each measuring 19 m long, 6m wide and 6m high, from the port of Pointe-Noire to the brewery’s production plant.
“These are 350,000-liter tanks that can produce 25 percent more product thanks to new technology,” said Frédéric Ferraille, Bralico’s managing director.
In addition to transporting the tanks, the customer placed its complete trust in AGL Congo’s teams to handle, lift, unload and deliver the goods.
The complexity of the operation required meticulous planning and adequate human and material resources to deliver the package safely.
“The particularity of this operation lies in the size of the tanks, which makes it an oversized package,” explained Distel Oba, Logistics Manager with AGL Congo.
