BMCE Capital has announced the launch of “Cap’AI by BK,” a new Open Innovation program designed to accelerate the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) within Morocco’s financial sector.
The initiative aims to foster collaboration and drive innovation by engaging startups, individual talents, and teams in developing AI-driven solutions.
The program, announced in a recent press release, targets a broad range of participants, including Moroccan and international students, professionals, and AI enthusiasts with advanced skills. Teams of up to three members are encouraged to apply.
“Cap’AI” is a strategic move by BMCE Capital to further its digital transformation and builds upon the success of its previous innovation competitions, such as “Cap’Tech,” “Cap’INov,” and “Cap’Women.” This new program specifically focuses on integrating AI into investment banking and the wider financial sector.
The program seeks to establish a dynamic ecosystem that connects startups, researchers, technology partners, and industry experts. Participants will collaborate to develop projects that address current challenges in the financial sector.
Three key themes have been identified as priorities, exploring AI applications to improve trading strategies and financial decision-making, developing AI solutions to create personalized and enhanced customer experiences, and utilizing AI to automate tasks and streamline operations within financial institutions.
The “Cap’AI” program aims to stimulate innovation, promote the adoption of practical AI solutions in financial services, and foster entrepreneurial spirit through a collaborative platform.
Applications are now open and will be accepted until April 30, 2025. Interested participants are encouraged to submit their project ideas related to one of the three priority themes through the program’s official website: www.capai.ma.
By launching “Cap’AI,” BMCE Capital is positioning itself as a leader in the future of finance, leveraging the transformative power of artificial intelligence to anticipate and adapt to the rapidly evolving financial landscape.
