In N’Djamena, the Chadian capital law enforcement has dealt a significant blow to drug traffickers.
During a ceremony held on Thursday, 27 March, the General Directorate for Combating Narcotics unveiled a substantial haul of drugs, counterfeit alcohol, and other banned substances.
The event took place in the presence of the Deputy Director General of Police, Bourma Hemchi Tchougourou, and the 9th Deputy Prosecutor of the Republic, Zadadine Adoum.
The items were confiscated through various operations conducted by agents of the General Directorate for Combating Narcotics.
According to National Police authorities, this major seizure underscores the commitment of law enforcement to tackling drug trafficking, a scourge that undermines society.
