The Confederation of African Football (CAF) held its Executive Committee meeting in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Monday, October 21, under the Chairmanship of Dr. Patrice Motsepe, who was received in audience with his delegation by Prime Minister Ahmed Abiy.
Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed announced on Monday, October 21 via his X account (formerly Twitter) that he had received the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe, and members of the CAF Executive Committee in Addis Ababa.
The meeting was part of the preparations for the 46th CAF Ordinary Congress, which Ethiopia will host this year.
“This morning, I received the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe, and members of the Executive Committee in my office as a prelude to the 46th Ordinary Congress of the CAF, which Ethiopia will host this year,” said the Ethiopian Prime
Minister.
CAF held its Executive Committee Meeting (EXCO) on Monday, October 21, 2024 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The EXCO is a prelude to the 46th Ordinary Congress, which will also e held in the Ethiopian capital on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
Prime Minister Ahmed reported that he also “took the opportunity to visit the Adey Abeba Stadium, which is currently in the final stages of completion. Ethiopia is ready to support the smooth running of the meetings.”
