About 75 schools are expected to see improvement in their facilities to impact positively on the learning ant teaching processes as part of government efforts to implement a free senior High school (SHS) programme for all Ghanaian children.
The Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Twum, who made the announcement in Accra on Monday, said last year, government received an additional $40 million from the World Bank to implement the SEIP programme.
The Daily Graphic reports on Tuesday that Dr. Twum was this known when he interacted with the newsroom staff of the paper in Accra.
The SEIP programme, which was initiated by the erstwhile National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, to improve access to education.
