The decision, implemented by order of President General Mamadi Doumbouya and communicated by the Prime Minister, requires all Guinean ministers to return home from their current foreign trips. Secretaries-general and ambassadors will be responsible for representing the country abroad during this period.
Effective immediately, no minister will be permitted to leave the national territory without the express authorization of the Head of State.
The suspension of foreign travel aims to strengthen the presence of government officials within the country and address domestic challenges more effectively. The General Secretariat of the Government has urged all ministers to adhere to this directive.
