King Mohammed VI will address Moroccans this evening on the occasion of Throne Day during which other events are also planned in M’diq and Tetouan.
The Royal Cabinet announced that King Mohammed VI would deliver a speech this Monday evening to mark Throne Day and the 25th anniversary of his accession to the throne.
The King, who is currently on the Mediterranean coast near Tetouan, will speak from 9 pm local time. His speech will be broadcast on all TV and radio stations.
Other events to mark the anniversary are also planned. The Royal Family has announced that the King will host a reception on Tuesday
afternoon at the M’diq-Fnideq Prefectural Square in the city of M’diq.
As Supreme Commander and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, the King will, on Wednesday afternoon, preside over the
swearing-in ceremony for new officers graduating from the various military, paramilitary and civilian schools and institutes.
The ceremony will be held in the Mechouar Square at the Royal Palace in Tetouan.
On this occasion, the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces will offer lunch at the Royal Guard Officers’ Circle in Tetouan. The King will also preside over the allegiance ceremony in the same place of the Royal Palace in Tetouan late in the afternoon
