During the meeting with Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance (DGSN-DGST) Abdellatif Hammouchi, Commissioner Bercero acknowledged Morocco’s crucial role in preventing terrorist attacks in Spain.
“Thanks to reliable intelligence provided by the DGST services, Madrid has repeatedly prevented terrorist attacks,” Commissioner Bercero stated.
The Spanish delegation expressed deep appreciation for Morocco’s intelligence-sharing and expertise in counterterrorism, recognizing the significant threat posed by terrorist groups operating in the Sahel and the Sahara region.
