Following a meeting in Rabat on Monday, Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and Senegalese Minister for African Integration Yassine Fall expressed their desire for a collaboration that serves as a model for inter-African cooperation.
Both ministers emphasized the importance of solidarity, shared experiences, and working together for the development of the African continent. Additionally, they acknowledged the crucial role a vibrant private sector plays in strengthening bilateral relations and promoting investment opportunities in both countries.
Senegal’s Minister Fall commended the progress achieved through frequent visits by King Mohammed VI to Dakar and the numerous joint projects undertaken in various sectors, including infrastructure, fisheries, and healthcare.
The meeting concluded with an agreement for Morocco and Senegal to support each other’s candidacies within regional and international organizations. They further pledged to continue their collaborative efforts in promoting peace and development across Africa.
