The Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated the Crocodiles of Lesotho 3-0 in their final Group L match in the 2022 AFCON qualifiers to be hosted by Cameroon.
The match played at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos on Tuesday saw the Super Eagles take the lead in the first half through Victor Osimhen, soon after his earlier goal was ruled offside.
The second for the Super Eagles was scored by Oghenekaro Etebo in the 51st minute of the match, while substitute Paul Onuachu scored the third goal for the Super Eagles in the 74th minutes.
Although the Super Eagles dominated the game from start to finish, the Lesotho team was able to find the Nigerian net, but the goal was ruled offside.
With this victory, the Super Eagles concluded the campaign for AFCON 2022 in Group L with 14 points and unbeaten record.
