The Comptroller-General of the NIS, Mr. Muhammad Babandede, announced in a statement in Abuja on Monday that the fee of the current passport still remains the same.
The NIS had on January 21, 2019 announced that it would begin issuance of the document on March 4.
The statement added that applicants are encouraged to visit the website of the NIS for further information on fees payable and the application process.
