The Super Falcons of Nigeria on Tuesday in Pretoria qualified for the Women Football event at the 2024 Paris Olympic after playing a goalless draw with Banyana Banyana of South Africa.
The Super Falcons dominated the game in the first half but failed to convert a number of goal scoring chances they created.
The Banyana Banyana raised their game in the second half in search of the elusive goal, while the Super Falcons resorted to some defensive tactics since they have one goal advantage from the first match of the qualifier played in Abuja, Nigeria last Friday.
The lone goal scored by Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade from the penalty spot in the first leg earned the Nigeria Women football team the elusive ticket to the Olympics.
