Rwandan health officials on Wednesday confirmed 40 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of patients in the country to 25,351.
A total of 3,119 tests were conducted within the past 24 hours, and 40 were positive in 8 districts out of 30 districts of Rwanda, the ministry said in a statement.
The current death toll stands at 377, the statement added.
The total numbers of people having recovered from the virus reached 23,523 after ten new recoveries were recorded in the last 24 hours.
Laboratories across Rwanda have completed 1,326,706 tests since March last year.
